Kenya Returns
After the recent uphevals in the country, Kenya has quickly got back on its feet and is once again welcoming tourists. Angie Meddins of the Kenya Tourist Board UK said she was looking forward to getting tourism back to the visitor levels enjoyed prior to the difficulties. The intervention of Kofi Annan and his pledge to return to Kenya to oversee the peace process was a key factor on the rapid recovery.
