Itinerary
Day 1 – Local departure by coach, then on to the South-East of England for a two night stay.
Day 2 – Rochester (included) Enjoy a full day in the picture postcard town of Rochester. Explore the wonderful Dickens Christmas Market, which takes place at Rochester Castle. The Castle walls are illuminated in traditional Christmas colours, with German-style Christmas market stalls and huts, selling a wide range of festive gifts and fayre. Street entertainers and Dickensian costumed characters all combine to create a magical Christmas atmosphere, whilst carol singers entertain you (subject to weather conditions). Breakfast included.
Day 3 – Enjoy a morning at Lakeside Shopping Centre, before returning home. Breakfast included.
Note: On departure 2nd December. The Dickens Christmas Market coincides with the ever popular Dickensian Christmas Festival, that has taken place in Rochester for the last 30 years and now attracts more than 80,000 people.
