Itinerary
Combine spectacular Alpine scenery with magical Christmas markets.
Day 1 – Local departure by coach then on to Belgium for an overnight stay.
Day 2 – Arrive in Niederau in the Austrian Tyrol for four nights. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 3 – Salzburg (included) Visit the ‘Sound of Music’ city on the full-day included excursion. The day is free to follow in the footsteps of Mozart through this glorious city. Enjoy looking for gifts amongst the stalls of the fantastic Christmas market, take a stroll down the Getreidegasse shopping street, or relax with a warming Gluhwein. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 4 – Innsbruck (optional, included in Silver Service) A great day in the capital of the Tyrol. Famous for its winter sports facilities, and nestling in the Inn Valley in the shadow of the Karwendel Mountains, Innsbruck has a wonderful backdrop of Alpine scenery. Warm yourselves with a glass of mulled wine as you stroll around the two Christmas markets and the Swarovski Crystal shop, which is turned into a Christmas grotto during the festive season. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 5 – Munich (included) Head into Germany to enjoy the ambience of the Christmas market in the Marienplatz. The ‘Christkindlmarket’ is a tradition that dates back to the 14th century. After finding those all important gifts, spoil yourself with the tasty local sausages or take a seat and sample the wares in one of Munich’s famous beer halls. Breakfast and Dinner included.
Day 6 – To Belgium for an overnight stay. Breakfast included.
Day 7 – To Calais, then return home. Breakfast included.

Accommodation
You will stay for four nights at the 4 star Hotel Sonnschein in Niederau, a firm favourite with Leger guests. The hotel has a lift, bar, lounge area and restaurant. All bedrooms have TV, telephone, radio, safe and hairdryer. Overnight stays in Belgium are in city style hotels.
