ITINERarY
4 Star Belgium
Day 1 – Local departure by coach then on to Hasselt, in Belgium, for a three night stay, welcome drink on arrival.
Day 2 – Hasselt Fashion Walk and Maasmechelen Village. Breakfast included.
Day 3 – Cologne Markets, Perfume and Chocolate Walking Tour. Breakfast included.
Day 4 – Head home via Calais. Breakfast included.

Rhine Cruise
Day 1 – Local departure by coach then on to join the cruise ship ‘M.S. Prinses Juliana’ in Koblenz for a three night cruise.
Day 2 – Cologne (included) Perfume and Chocolates Walking Tour (included) Today we cruise to Cologne to experience the magic of the Christmas markets. Cologne has six Christmas markets located in different areas of the city, and one of the most popular is situated at the Alter Markt, with half-timbered stands, set amongst the beautiful backdrop of the Old Town. Join your guide for an included perfume and chocolate walking tour. Visit the museum dedicated to the famous ‘Farina’ cologne, and the Imhoff chocolate museum, where we discover the secrets of chocolate production, and have the opportunity to sample the local produce. Enjoy free time in Cologne this evening to explore the markets and sample the festive specialities, and maybe enjoy a meal in one of the traditional restaurants. Breakfast included.
Day 3 – Dusseldorf (included) Continue the cruise to Dusseldorf, with two main Christmas markets located in the old Town and around the Schadowplatz. Dusseldorf is also home to the Konigsallee, one of Germany’s most fashionable streets. A farewell dinner is included on board ship. Breakfast and dinner included.
Day 4 – We leave our ship at Dusseldorf after breakfast and then return home. Breakfast included.
Please Note: The cruise element of this tour is mixed and will be shared with the cruise tour also visiting the Rhine Christmas markets.

ACCOMMODATION
4 Star Belgium
Staying for three nights at the 4 star Holiday Inn Hasselt, conveniently located in the shopping area, and only a short walk from the Fashion Museum. The hotel has a restaurant and bar, plus lift and leisure club with indoor swimming pool. All bedrooms have TV, telephone, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
Rhine Cruise
The ‘M.S. Prinses Juliana’ is a 3 star standard cruise ship. Onboard facilities feature three decks, including a sun deck, and a lounge, bar and restaurant. All cabins are located on the Main Deck and have twin beds and telephone. Each night the ship will moor in a central location of town, allowing you to easily visit the main sights and the markets.
