Renowned for its mild climate, the Isle of Wight is very popular destination and Ryde is the ideal place to stay as it offers a wide range of attractions to suit all, from the brilliant beach to the historic town. Osborne House, the Summer home of Queen Victoria, and mighty Carisbrooke Castle are a must to, see as is pretty Godshill with its picture-postcard cottages. Our tour will also include a visit to the historic port town of Yarmouth which is home to the oldest architecture on the island, we visit Yarmouth castle an area of nostalgia, Rosemary Vineyard one of the largest producers of English wine is also included. The coloured sands at Freshwater Bay and a stunning view of the Needles are all visited during our stay on the island.

We make our way to Portsmouth this morning for our ferry crossing to Fishbourne, Isle of Wight. On arrival at our hotel, we will enjoy a welcome drink whilst our bags are taken to our room.
Today, we will board our coach for a circular tour of the island. The island boasts 60 miles of spectacular coastline and stunning scenery affording plenty of spectacular views. With fabulous ocean views, we will visit the famous Needles chairlift which operates from the cliff-top at Alum Bay down to the beach below, and the Needles Rocks and Trinity Lighthouse - the Isle of Wight's most famous landmark. With plenty of attractions on-site, this iconic landmark is unforgettable. Our tour will also include a visit to the historic port town of Yarmouth which is home to the oldest architecture on the island, including a Yarmouth's 16th century castle, and a grade 2 listed pier.
Today we have a morning at leisure. The Royal Esplanade Hotel is just a short walk to the centre of Ryde so you will have time to indulge in a little retail therapy or take time to wander on Rydes award winning beach, which at low tide opens up to Isle of Wight's largest stretch of golden sands. This afternoon we visit Rosemary Vineyard, one of the largest producers of English wine. We will have a 30 minute guided tour which will include the wine making process followed by a small tasting
After breakfast this morning, we will make our way home.
