Once a fishing village, C’an Picafort is a small, laid-back resort with beautiful white sandy beaches and spectacular mountain coastline. Get away from the bustle and de-stress in this tiny seaside town. With the Tramuntana Mountains in the distance, the waves lapping gently against the shore and the fine white sand underfoot, the worries of home will slip away.
Playa de C’an Picafort is the main beach in town. This Blue Flag beach has 1.5km of fine white sand with plenty of sunbeds, loungers, parasols, pedalos and watersports available. There’s also a traffic-free promenade brimming with restaurants and bars, which runs all the way down from marina down to the smaller, more natural beach at Son Bauló.
Do as much (or little!) as you choose. For children, there’s plenty to keep them entertained, including the nearby Alcudia Waterpark or even Jeep Safaris. Or take a boat trip around the island with optional snorkelling or fishing included.
