South Africa's Red Carnation Hotels

Red Carnation Hotels are a small group of luxury boutique hotels in different locations and have won several awards in recent years. Yesterday we had a visit from Ami Neve, the UK Director of Sales from Red Carnation Hotels as she accompanied Abbey Thomas of Visions Holidays, a preferred partner of Conexo Travel. As well as having a number of their own excellent holiday brands, Visions Holidays are able to book all Red Carnation Hotels.
Ami spoke to me specifically about their three amazing properties in South Africa and took us through the videos below which really bring to life the experience of each hotel.

The 12 Apostles Hotel

The award-winning Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa has a great location on Cape Town’s most scenic route. Situated above the Atlantic Ocean, this 5-star boutique hotel is to be found amidst Table Mountain National Park, a World Heritage Site, and of course the Twelve Apostles mountain range. The hotel offers guests a shuttle service to Cape Town and V&A Waterfront. It’s fantastic position guarantees memorable Atlantic Ocean sunsets.

The Oyster Box

The Oyster Box – wow!
Head north out of Durban and eventually you will find The Oyster Box in a majestic position on Umhlanga’s beachfront overlooking the Indian Ocean with the iconic lighthouse, The Oyster Box, a Member of Red Carnation Hotel Collection, offers its guests the ultimate in colonial charm and style.

Bushman’s Kloof

Offering clients the ultimate wilderness experience to escape, rest, heal and be at one with nature, with wide open plains, mystical rock formations, crystal clear waterfalls and an abundance of flora and fauna, Bushman’s Kloof is just unique. It’s a 7500 hectare malaria and predator free haven sitting at the foothills of South Africa’s Cederberg Mountains, round 180 miles from Cape Town. It’s a South African Natural Heritage Site as well as being home to over 130 documented Bushman rock art sites and the internationally renowned Rooibos tea.
