CONEXO TRAVEL ADVENT PHOTO BLOG
In China, only about 1% of the population is Christian, so Christmas is really only celebrated in the major cities. Within these major cities, Christmas is celebrated a lot like it is in the US and most of Europe, with shops decorated with festive colours, and even Santa’s Grottos in the shopping malls. There are Christmas themed events at major landmarks such as the Bird’s Nest, as the national stadium transforms to host the Ice and Snow Festival every year. This is a long-term event that runs from Mid-December until Mid-February, with ice-skating and themed winter fun for all ages.
Every day in December the Conexo Travel blog will share a festive travel image to help get you in the Christmas mood. We call it the our Advent photo blog. Follow it every day in December.
