Last week on Monday, we popped across to Liverpool have a tour of Celebrity Reflection whilst she was docked during a cruise from Dublin. One of the first things we realised upon arriving in Liverpool was how much it has changed over the years, and become a vibrant hub, full of wonderful sights and fantastic shops, as well as a diverse choice of restaurants and bars. It would make a fantastic city break, but more about another time. We want to let you know what Celebrity Cruise can offer you.
When it comes to cruising, there are a lot of common misconceptions. It’s too expensive; there is not enough to do when you’re at sea; it’s too formal. Celebrity Cruise, and many other cruise companies, now offer cabins at a very reasonable price, ranging from Inside cabins to Ocean View cabins all the way up to Suites. All cabins are a good size and have very good facilities for your stay. Life on board is never boring, with a large array of cafes, bars and restaurants for you to choose from. There is a casino, a cinema room, a theatre with 2 showings a night, an indoor and out door pool, jacuzzis, a spa, a gym – even real grass lawn for you to chill on the summer evenings watching the sunset!
And if you thought that was enough, there is more. The Celebrity Reflection (and all other Celebrity ships) has a library where you can enjoy a quiet moment with a good book and a coffee. They have an iLounge, where you can use the latest Apple technology and even buy some while you are on board. They have a shopping court with designers such as Michael Kors and Gucci.
If you thinking of taking your kids and worried they will be bored, think again. They have their own deck! The kids club ranges from age 3 up to 12, then from 12 to 16 they can use the X Club for the teens, where they have access to all the latest technology such as Xbox, GoPros etc. In fact, they are given a GoPro each for them to record their holiday, and they are shown how to format their video in the iLounge, which is a fantastic way of keeping them engaged and occupied whilst their parents enjoy time to themselves. The kids clubs are open until 10pm, so mum and dad can enjoy an evening meal in peace and pick them up in time for bed.
There really is something on board for everyone on this wonderful ship. Get in touch today for more information on Celebrity Cruises (or any cruise for that matter!)
