New York – A City in Motion

New York is the most amazing place to experience world-class live entertainment, art, dining, shopping, sports and much more. See Broadway theatre right at its source, take in a live TV show recording, explore the world’s most beautiful museums and sample New York City‘s famous street foods – and that’s just in Manhattan. You can take a few extra days to walk around a vibrant scene of culture and international fare in Queens, get a taste of the cutting-edge in Brooklyn, witness the birthplace of hip-hop and authentic Italian cuisine in the Bronx and enjoy sweeping views of the city from Staten Island.

When it comes to Museums, you’ll find more than just the big names (which are definitely worth a visit). The newly renovated Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, the new Whitney Museum, Staten Island Museum’s new home and Snug Harbour, The Noguchi Museum and Socrates Sculpture Park in Queens are just a few examples of the many amazing museums New York has to offer.

Every season offers something new an exciting to see and do in New York City, and as it’s the City That Never Sleeps there is never a dull moment. If you visit during the summer months make sure you take a walk through Central Park on a sunny afternoon, or enjoy a baseball game watching the famous Mets or Yankees! Pay a visit to the Central Park Zoo, where there is fun for all the family. Why not hop on a ferry to experience the beauty of the Statue of Liberty National Monument and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum and National Monument, located in the New York Harbour. During the Winter months you could enjoy ice skating at the iconic Rockefeller Centre, or indulge in Christmas shopping at the many famous department stores such as Macy’s or Bloomingdales.

One of the best ways to take in the stunning New York views is by taking the lift 102 floors up the Empire State Building, where you can enjoy breathtaking scenes of the surrounding neighbourhoods. Or even better, you can take a helicopter at sunset over the city and watch Times Square come alive at night from the air.
