Tell us about your role at Conexo Travel? I am Manager at our store in Haxby.                                                                How long have you worked at Conexo Travel? I started at the company back in June 2013, so just over 12 years now!                                                                                                    What inspired you to start working in the travel industry? I was inspired to join Conexo by the fact that is our family business and I wanted to help it grow. I was a young mum at the time to two boys and I was originally hired to list content on their website, but they kept paying me and giving me more interesting things to do, so I just... stayed! When I started, I had two kids; now I have four who occasionally come in for 'staff training' ( in other words, eating our snacks and pressing all the buttons ). Being part of this family business and seeing my own family grow alongside Conexo over the last 12 years has been the best inspiration of all.                                                              What is your favorite type of holiday to make bookings on or take enquiries about? I absolutely love any enquiry that comes in for Canada - it's a place I have always been fascinated by and love creating itineraries that combine flight, rail and cruise for my clients to get the most out of their experience in that part of the world.                      What's your favorite place you have travelled to? My favorite destination I have visited is Norway; it is a stunning country with lovely people and beautiful landscapes and I would love to visit again.                                                          What is your dream holiday destination? New Zealand - I would love to do a full tour of both islands in a motorhome, that is definitely on my bucket list!                                    Name the person (dead or alive) you would love to sit next to on a flight and why? I would happily sit next to Ricky Gervais on a flight for the comedy entertainment!
