Itinerary
Day 1 – UK/Ireland → Lima
International flight to Lima.
Arrive at your UK/Ireland departure airport ready to check in for your flight to Lima. If either your outbound or inbound flights depart before 4:00 a.m., you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.
Day 2 – Lima → Arequipa
Flight to Arequipa & city tour.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport in Lima for your flight to Arequipa, whose UNESCO‑listed centre is home to religious monuments and historic buildings such as the Basilica Cathedral. The city sits at the foot of the Misti volcano, creating a beautiful skyline backdrop.
In the afternoon, enjoy a half‑day tour visiting Carmen Alto and Yanahuara viewpoints, with views of Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu, then continue to the Santa Catalina Monastery and Arequipa’s main plaza.
Day 3 – Arequipa
Free day or optional Sillar Route excursion.
Breakfast at the hotel and a full day at leisure to discover Arequipa at your own pace. Alternatively, take an optional private excursion to the Sillar Route to learn how the historic centre was built using ashlar blocks and traditional stonemason techniques.
Day 4 – Arequipa → Colca Valley
Scenic journey to Colca Valley.
Travel through Pampa Cañahuas, known for its diverse fauna including vicuñas, and stop at Patahuasi and Tocrapampa to admire landscapes and birdlife. Continue to Chivay for a buffet lunch (at your expense) before transferring to your hotel in Colca for an afternoon at leisure.
Day 5 – Colca Valley → Puno
Colca Canyon & Andean Condor, then on to Puno.
Visit the Cruz del Condor viewpoint to gaze at Colca Canyon, the second deepest canyon in the world, and try to spot the majestic Andean Condor. Continue to Maca, Chivay for lunch (at your expense), Patapampa and Patahuasi, ending with a stop in Lagunillas to enjoy the local fauna before arriving in Puno.
Day 6 – Puno & Lake Titicaca
Uros & Taquile Islands.
Take a boat trip on Lake Titicaca to the floating Uros Islands to meet the first ethnic group that arrived in Puno, learn about their daily lives and visit their houses. Continue to Taquile Island, known for its stunning landscapes, lake views and snow‑capped Illimani mountains, and enjoy lunch with locals as they sing and dance to traditional music.
Day 7 – Puno → Cuzco
Scenic bus via Pucara, La Raya, Raqch’i & Andahuaylillas.
Journey by bus from Puno to Cuzco through the South Valley, stopping at the Lithic Museum and archaeological complex of Pucara, La Raya pass, the ruins of Raqch’i (Wiracocha Temple) and the Church of San Pedro Apostol in Andahuaylillas, with a buffet lunch included en route.
Day 8 – Cuzco → Machu Picchu → Cuzco
Train to Aguas Calientes & guided visit of Machu Picchu.
After breakfast, transfer to Ollantaytambo to board the train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying beautiful green mountain scenery. From there, take a bus up to the citadel of Machu Picchu for an approximately 2.5‑hour guided visit, morning or afternoon depending on availability. Explore this 15th‑century Inca city, perched at over 2000 meters, then return to Aguas Calientes and later by train to Ollantaytambo and onward back to Cuzco.

Day 9 – Cuzco
Free day or optional excursions.
Enjoy the day at leisure in Cuzco or choose between a full‑day excursion to Rainbow Mountain of Vinicunca or The Essence of the Sacred Valley from Cuzco. In the evening you may also join an optional panoramic night tour of Cuzco with a Pisco Sour workshop.
Note: you can only select one of the two full‑day options (Rainbow Mountain or Sacred Valley) as they overlap.
Day 10 – Cuzco → Lima
Flight to Lima & free time.
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima, famous for its award‑winning gastronomy, coastal parks, museums and colonial Plaza de Armas. After assistance and check‑in at your hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure in the capital.
Day 11 – Lima
Half‑day city tour & Larco Museum.
Explore Miraflores and San Isidro districts before heading to the Historic Center, visiting the Santo Domingo Convent, Casa de Aliaga and Plaza de Armas. Continue to the Larco Museum, which houses more than 45,000 artefacts depicting 5000 years of ancient Peruvian history.
Day 12 – Lima → UK/Ireland (Night on board)
Return flight.
Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK/Ireland. Night on board.
Day 13 – Arrival in UK/Ireland
End of trip.
Arrive in the UK/Ireland and end your Peruvian adventure.
