The Cathedral of Santa Maria de la Sede, also known as Seville Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Seville, Spain. It is the largest Gothic cathedral and the third-largest church in the world.

The cathedral is notable for its size, architecture, and Ortiz Restoration. It was built to house the remains of Christopher Columbus. The people of Seville believe that the cathedral was responsible for the city's popularity and wealth during the 15th and 16th centuries.The Seville Cathedral is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Spain, attracting more than 2 million visitors a year.
